Labia minor
The Little Earwings are brown insects with forceps-like pincers; forewing usually very short, leathery; long antennae.
Brush fields, under litter, in houses, woods and other.
Contrary to folklore, the fierce-looking pincher-bearing earwings do not creep into the ears of sleeping people. These insects can pinch sharply if handled, but they are vegetarians or scavengers that do no harm.
