Description:

This luxuriating plant can take over entire alpine areas where cattle has been congregating and the soil has been over-fertilized, as shown here. The plant can reach 1 m high, with 50 cm long leaves.

Habitat:

Alps, 1200-2600 m. Spotted here at 1500 m.
