Perennial, herbaceous flowering plant of the bellflower family native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere.

Habitat:

It is well adapted to cool and moist climatic conditions and often grows on poor and shallow soils on rocky terrain.

Notes:

Plant contains Inulin und Triterpensaponine, which have hemostatic and anti-inflammatory properties.
