The Australian Pelican is an the only pelican in Australia and is an unmistakable large black and white bird. The Pelican's bill is 40 cm - 50 cm long and is larger in males than females. Size Size 1.7m including bill. Wingspan 2.3 m - 2.5 m. Food fish Breeding The nest is a scrape in the ground lined with vegetation or feathers. Lays 1-3 eggs.
