Bullock's Oriole

Icterus bullockii

Notes:

Even though my photo is in a Ponderosa Pine, the Bullock's Oriole places its hanging sock next almost exclusively in Black Cottonwood trees in BC. I never could find the nest even though I was camped very close to it. This added photo is the Bullock's Oriole in a Cottonwood tree.

Both beautiful pictures, especially the 2nd one! Great composition, and color (thanks to the Oriole for that!).

I have added another photo here of the Oriole in a Cottonwood tree which is the only tree that they nest in, as far as I know.
