Description:

Nephila spiders vary from reddish to greenish yellow in colour and show whiteness on the cephalothorax and the beginning of the abdomen. This one is reddish.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty in the Dooars region of West Bengal, India.This species was seen in the garden of the resort.

Notes:

It seems to have caught a moth.
