Pereskia lychnidiflora
Today is a very rare and almost extinct cactus in the country, despite continuing efforts have not been able to locate native populations in the area of Nicoya, and almost only known for two or three individuals in the area of Bagaces and Puerto Humo. In fact, prior to these individuals, who were settled in the last decades, the plant was believed extinct in the country. (INBIO)
Dry forest
This on I am growing at home....just waiting for it to grow a flower for reconfirmation on the species. It was described as Pereskia nicoyana (Nicoya) my hometown.
