Junonia stygia, the Brown Pansy, Dark Pansy or Aurivillius’ Brown Pansy, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family.
Seen on bushes by the side of a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.

yes MarK and I saw them in all different shades, from light to dark and from brown through red.
