Crimson Rosella

The Crimson is a medium-sized Australian parrot. It is 36 cm long, including its long blue tailfeathers.


Quite common throughout south eastern Australia, this one was photographed near Jervis Bay in NSW. While originally a temparate rainforest bird, these are also found in suburban gardens throughout their range.
