Domestic Muscovy Duck

Cairina moschata

Large white duck with orange bill and feet and red around the eyes and part of the head. I've seen ducks before in West Virginia, but I can't say I've seen this kind before.

Found on the bank at the lake.

Make good pets as well.

Oh man I hope they don't become a problem here in West Virginia. They are pretty ducks though.

Muscovy duck. Wild ones are black, domesticated ones can have many patterns of black and white. They are bred for meat and I guess they're a problem in Florida.
