thank you, so there are two subspecies of Nephila-Pilipes originating from Java (?)
No.., they'd list it for several sub-species. But that is in your photo, really very similar to Nephila-pilipes spider from Taiwan.
Wikipedia does not list Java or Indonesia in Nephila-Pilipes living area, but I found it in the garden.
