Woodbridge's North lake in Irvine, Ca

Thid flock can be seen in this particular tree just about every day.

I have also seen these flocks on the gum tree by the lake..a sight to behold!

hello drgnbrth1 on the look( shape of the birds perching on the trees and in flight )of it , it surely looks like a cormorant

Hi I have been observing them too just before sunset as I walk round the lake with my boyfriend during the week. The numbers have doubled just in the last week! It's hugely entertaining to watch them attempting to land in the eucalyptus trees! Do you think they know they have webbed feet??
