Wild Horses

Equus ferus (caballus)

Description:

It is believe that many of the wild horses in Nevada and some of the other western states are native species. These horses have lived in extreme conditions and have survived for many years. Mostly known as Mustangs.

Habitat:

These live on flat sagebrush terrain as well as very rocky high terrain that we didn't know they could access.

Notes:

http://www.damonteranchwildhorses.com/ These horses are "Fenced Out" to separate them from the local neighborhoods.
