A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Rana clamitans melanota
I'm not sure this is actually a bullfrog since it has the folds of skin behind the eye which a bullfrog does not. Per wiki with reference to green frogs, "Dorsolateral ridges, prominent, seam-like skin folds that run down the sides of the back, distinguish the green frog from the bullfrog, which entirely lacks them." - Wikipedia
It's probably a green frog. Rana clamitans
Hey Rob
I've created a new mission to document the wildlife of the Niagara Region and this is a perfect spotting to submit. I hope you join the mission to help document the flora and fauna of our area.
