Amorpha juglandis
Oddly enough, this moth was out mid-afternoon. It landed on my husband and stayed there for about a minute before walking off him and on to a bush. It had very fuzzy orange antennae and a large soft looking body.
We spied this moth deep in Itasca State Part which is categorized as a coniferous forest.
