Probably some huge species.
Cicada nymphs spent years underground so they must have plenty of time to grow that large.

I didn't bother about the exact location on googlemaps, ChunXingWong. I just added "Sabah, Malaysia" in the map.

These nymphs already have such big sizes?

By the way, that is a cicada nymph that has just came out from the soil and is ready to molt into an adult cicada.

I believe that Maliau Basin is further south from the location you pointed in the map.
