I can't believe how hard it was to get a photo of this big aggressive bird that is common in the Interior of our province but not on the coast where I live. This shot I got out my car window!

The water in the picture is Nicola Lake near the town of Merritt, BC. I was on the way home from the camping, birding weekend and saw a chance to get this bird on camera, finally!!
