Pixiebob x Mainecoon
Large, 22lbs at last weigh in. Father pure Mainecoon, mother almost feral pixie-bob. Pixiebobs are known to be a bobcat x tabbycat hybrid, and for sometime required a permit in certain cities to own due to their wild bloodlines. Now considered completely domesticated, it is said there are no bobcat left in them. However as this picture shows, "biggie" still retains his "primordial sack" which is only found in wild cats.
Where-ever he pleases. :)
Pixiebobs are naturally occuring, and ours did not come from a breeder. They are known to have birth defects where they are missing sections of their spines. The litter "bigs" came from had 2 with no tails and 2 with tails.
In the last 2 years, hes survived a 4200 mile move, a pitbull attack, a rattlesnake bite, and most recently two large peices of 4" barbed "jumping cholo" cactus imbedded in him. We pulled 5 3" barbs from his lips alone. ..
