Description:

Slender medium-sized. Body length from snout to anus (SVL, snout-to-vent length) of about 50 mm in male frogs, and up to 80 mm in the females. ... back (dorsal) smooth skin, without folds, bulges or a pimple. Frogs can also change the color of the patterned somewhat darker and the contrast at night, until pale and faint at daylight...

Habitat:

Frogs are often found near human settlements and secondary forests. Spread in India, Burma, southern China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Malay Peninsula, Nicobar Islands, Mentawai, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba, and Timor.

Notes:

Active mainly at night, this frog is often heard rumbling loudly since before sunset. They prey on various insects.

Frogs are hidden scavengers of fresh water. Their role is totally unknown to us. In forest we drink water without hesitation where frogs found.
