White sticky-hairy flowers . Numerous flowers on short dense leafy spike. Corolla tubular 2 lipped; 5 stamens. Small dry many seeded fruit capsule. 6-12" tall. Opposite simple lance shaped hairy leaves.
Dry hillsides and prairie, common in southern Alberta. Flowers May/July.
