Could also be Dobsonfly larva or Carabidae larva - https://www.google.com.au/search?client=...

I take that back. There was some standing water on the lawn about 20 feet away.

Not even close to any water. It was on my neighbors patio, no water within a mile or so.

Looks like larval stage of predatory water beetle. Was it near water?
