Thanks, I think you're right about the ID. They're very cute and live in the area year-round.
Super cute!! Looks like an Eastern cottontail, I think Manitoba is right on their western limits in terms of distribution. We had a family of these in our backyard when I lived in Ontario! Very sweet, keep an eye out for babies!
