False Chanterelle

Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca?

Description:

I took a picture of the closest tree because it seemed so ridiculous (since the false chanterelle usually grows under trees)! The mushroom tasted kind of grassy like Liberty Caps. I found at least three other similar looking patches spread over a 100m length of path.
