It can be planted as household in garden. But you can not identify easily without its flowers. They spreads vastly. Very seasonal flowering.

pyoung...It is related to Inch plant but it is not Callisia repens.. I don't think I've ever seen this Commelina as a house plant...but, who knows?

In India they are used in Ayurvedic and Naturopathy medicines. Mostly used their roots and leafs and stick.

I did not know they were herbs either! That is interesting! How many inch's tall?
I seen this as a house plant in the 1970s. It has now spread around into the environment, I think they called it inch plant or its in that family? I'm not 100% sure ! http://www.hear.org/starr/images/image/?...

In India Commelina herbs seen everywhere during end of monsoon till early winter moist atmosphere.

It's related to Spiderwort...and it's spreading. Might have been a Houseplant but I've never seen it used as one.

It looks similar to spider wort. Is this a plant that is a ground cover? I think people used to use it as house plant years ago?

This is a weedy plant that occurs all over the place. You probably have it growing near you! Just need to look real close.
