Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.

Although lines, markings and wings can mess up a bit the disguise, this is the most beautiful of all treehoppers in shaped thorn. His imitation of thorns green is the most perfect, my opinion.

My brown species of thorn bugs are still active in a goldenrod meadow and are among the few that survived the late season onslaught of the baldfaced hornets, presumable packing in the food for the winter?
