This is bigger family...need to find with Bug guide and Google image search. Chrome is best search engine.

I found a similar moth, but not quite: the Orgyia leucostigma, the White-marked tussock moth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-marke.... I'll keep searching in the Orgyia genus. Thanks Ashish.
