Bumble bee

Bombus sp.

Description:

Bee in the bee's balm. Sorry they are fuzzy, I'm taking pictures to help overcome my phobia of them. It also doesn't help that they don't stand still! lol

Maybe - but when I was little, my mom was terrified of them. And I learned to react to them and to treat them all as dangerous - even if they aren't. I'm learning that they are very useful to have - and being scared of them won't let me enjoy my garden (which I am also learning about)!

Bumblebees are very gentle. I have not known them to sting. My daughter use to pet them gently.
