Mostly black fly with red eyes. Interesting to see how he seems to have the two sides of his face stitched together over his nose.

Habitat:

Mixed terrain of grass and forest.

Looks like a Flesh fly possibly Sarcophaga carnaria although I'm not 100% it may be a starting point :)
