Erithacus rubecula
Robin or Robin redbreast is a small passerine insectivorous bird, belonging to Old World flycatcher family (Muscicapidae). Some 12 to 13cm in length, easily distinguished by orange face and throat. Belly is whitish, and the coat brown. Sexes are similar.
Seen in a park in urban setting in Marseille, south of France; Mediterranean climate and vegetation.
