Description:

The largest tree squirrel. 3 color phasesin northeastern part of range gray above yellowish below in western bright rust below in southern black often with white blaze on face and white tail tip. In Sout Carolina typically balck with white ears and nose.

Habitat:

Eastern U.S. except New England
