Large white chrysalis

Pieris brassicae

Description:

Unfortunately, this fellar is completely dried out. He has been on a plant pot on my terrace for a long time, and the other day he just fell off. But it allowed me to take some good photos, and then I put him back outside somewhere safe. Just in case.

It's a mummified chrysalis. I have two outside, one is attached to a plant pot and still alive, this one fell off, is completely solid and rattles when you shake it...not a good sign! But still, I put it back outside in a safe place.

That's a strange looking something.
Think it could be a Puppae?
