They are wide spread to avoid sink into water...Nature's great creation..!!
It seems to be Eurasian, but because it was found at a zoo, there's no telling for certain what subspecies it is. I did add the urban biodiversity mission though, thanks for the suggestion!! :D
There are many subspecies of the Common Morhen. If you check out the link perhaps you can determine.
