Soldier Beetle

Description:

This Beetle is about 1/2 an inch long and has a narrow red body, but has brown wing casings which are black at the back. It has long antennae which are black, the same colour as it's legs.

Habitat:

I found it between a river and a vegetable patch in thick weeds. It was not in the vegetable patch.
