Description:

Up to 80 cm grouper. Purple and violet color with yellow at the edge of the fins and spots all over the body. Territorial, it eats fish, crusteaceans and cephalopods.

Habitat:

It can be seen swimming among surface coral formations and along coral drop-offs. Red sea and tropical Indo-Pacific
