Thomas, please can you go through your spottings & update the ones that other users have taken the time to identify for you with the correct scientific names & a reference link so that they can be removed from the "unknowns" list.
Please also ensure that you provide both a scientific name & a reference link for any suggestions you make on other users' spottings. Not sure about "lacecap". There's too many white flowers around the outside edge.

On second thought, it may be Hydrangea serrata, "Mountian Hydrangea"

I think I got it- Hydrangea aspera, maybe?

I thought so, too. The entire plant is very much like Hydrangea with the exception of the flowers.
