Photo no. one: I looked very closely at the two, large, white areas on your first photo, and I saw that these two, large, white areas, were part of this leaf. I saw "leaf veins", in these two, large, white areas. "Leaf veins". These two, large, white areas, were "dead tissue", caused by "leaf mining larvae". The brown areas that were also on this leaf, was also dead tissue, caused by "leaf mining larvae". The white shallow tunnels, or mines, was also caused by "leaf mining larvae". This leaf was injured, by "leaf mining larvae"......
Photo No. one: Leaf miner : A leaf miner, is the larva of an insect, that lives in and eats the leaf tissue of plants. The vast majority of leaf-miming insects are: moths, sawflies, flies, and beetles. To the left of the two, large, white blotches, I saw, three or four, serpentine "mines". I also saw some brown areas on this leaf, and I believe this to be dead tissue. The serpentine "mine", was made by a "leaf-miner" larva. The two, large, white blotches, was the damage done by the "leaf-mining" larvae. - Second photo: On your second photo, there is a large white blotch, on the bottom half of this leaf. There is also some brown areas too. ( dead tissue ). On the top half of this leaf, there is another, large, white blotch. Also, some brown areas too. ( dead tissue ). Also, on the top half of this leaf, I see two, large areas of yellow. Inside both of these two, large areas of yellow, I see a green object. This green object, might be the larva, of a "leaf-miner". This green leaf, might be infected with some "leaf-mining" larvae. And the large, white blotches, might be the damage caused by the "leaf-mining" larvae. The brown areas on this leaf, is the dead tissue, damage done by the "leaf-miming" larvae. I believe the serpentine mines, were done by the "leaf-mining" larvae. I also believe, the large, white blotches, was damage done by the "leaf-mining" larvae?

I have the same opinion: "silky tents" are only the upper leaf epidermis, left after the mining.
I saw some "leaf miner" "mines", on the left side, of your first photo.
