I know that the fruits of these trees are eadible & once upon a time a friend in Egypt told me the name. But I lost the data from my old blog and with it all the Infos :( Kuwait 2011
I was eating these in China, pretty tasty! I don't think this spotting belongs in the Biodiversity of Egypt, just Kuwait's Biodiversity.
The name in English is "Zizyphus spina christi". Very common in Kuwait & the fruit is edible. The taste is sweet & the locals love to eat it
