I was eating these in China, pretty tasty! I don't think this spotting belongs in the Biodiversity of Egypt, just Kuwait's Biodiversity.

The name in English is "Zizyphus spina christi". Very common in Kuwait & the fruit is edible. The taste is sweet & the locals love to eat it
