Hey it is a most gorgeous Butterfly, even before you knew the name!
Now that's what I call team work! :D
That was fun. Now on to the other butterfly spotting of YogeshSave - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/686...:-)
yes it really took a while for all of us at the end we could find an id great work all
Yes Atul. Looking at the link you posted, looks like you nailed it as the Common Mormon :-)
I think Atul got it...!!
and a good one too Eric i thing we can all come down to the common mormon idshould say that is some kind of mimicry
Hi guys. You might want to check Crimson Rose (Atrophaneura hector). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atrophaneur... The males have black bodies. What is throwing me off though is that your spotting does not have a red head is typical of the Crimson Rose.Just a thought.
according to the designs then the common rose or the crimson rose would be closest matches
Then check in Great mormon types..
Do not confuse.. Red and White are mixed colour...design of them is important...!!
there is still a difference ashish we need to look for some more options
Dan I find little different design as compared onhttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...
atul pls try to find name of my another butterfly spotting of blue and black colour...
true am unable to find anything closer to that as well
You're right Atul, it was just a suggestion, they do look similar though. That was the closest match I found on the learnaboutbutterflies site.
