Ricaniid planthopper

Ricanula sp.

Description:

At first glance the small insect may resemble a moth but it is actually from the Hemiptera: Ricaniidae. Resembles Ricanula stigmatica.

Habitat:

Large semi-urban yard/garden adjacent to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.

Notes:

The last photo is a different individual but photo was taken at same site during same session.
