A beautifully patterned black butterfly with reddish orange stripes on the wings and white spots on the front wing tips
I found this one in my backyard. Unfortunately, it seemed unable to fly very well. Because it is winter, and even in Southern California it is in the 50s Fahrenheit, it may be net the end of its life. Such a beautiful creature.
