Approximately an inch in length with varying shades of brown and visible dark 'X' on back.

Habitat:

In the leaves near a lake in a seasonal wooded area after a rain.

Notes:

Found in front of the Red-Shouldered Hawk mew on a wooded trail at the nature preserve I work at.
