Red Wolves

Canis Rufus

Description:

A pack of red wolves at the Miller Park Zoo- an ambulance passed by, and worked them into a howling frenzy.

Habitat:

Wooded enclosure

Notes:

Unfortunately, the red wolf is extinct in the wild- it only exists in captivity. On the good news front, about 5 or 6 of these red wolves are pups, so the zoo's breeding and conservation program is working to reverse this trend.
