mourning gecko

Lepidodactylus lugubris

Description:

I now believe this to be a baby mourning gecko based on images I've seen.

Habitat:

Houses and other buildings. In this case, in fringing vegetation (Heliconia sp.).

Notes:

Hemidactylus frenatus , H. platyurus and Gekko vittatus (and perhaps one more species) also inhabit these helconia plants and the dwelling beside them.
