I can understand that. I had also seen it tagged black eye susan at the Karen Blixen house in Nairobi(where I was unsuccessfully chasing a sulpher butterfly of some sort)

Karen... I have no doubt with Thunbergia alata.. Kirsten is perfect..!!
I was confused with its herb or climber classification..!!

I'm going with thunbergia. The pictures are exact and I had looked it up when I first took the picture and had come up with black eyed susan vine, but no scientific name. It bothered me at the time, because I think of Rudbeckia hirta as black eyed susan - then I forgot to look it up when I got home

Yes...Its a Ornamental climber used in garden decoration... This is originated from South Africa.
