White-Tailed Deer

Odocoileus Virginianus

Graceful, with a tail that's brown on top and white underneath that goes up like a flag when frightened. During the summer is coat is reddish brown with short thin hair, and durring the winter it becomes grayish brown to gray with long thick hair. the male grows antlers.

In the woods, but they love to go into yards for garden delights. Thankfully as many as I have go through my yard they have left it alone.

They are beautiful to look at. I love it when they leap through the air as they run off.
