Leptophis ahauetulla

Description:

The dirty face is because it was chasing a prey. Like all members of the genus, L. ahauetulla snake is a medium to large, up to 2.2 meters, slender body and elongated head, large eyes and elongated and slightly toxic poison.

Habitat:

From the tropical dry forest to very humid, lowland, montane rain forest transition from basal to pre-montane rainforest.
