Leptophis ahauetulla
The dirty face is because it was chasing a prey. Like all members of the genus, L. ahauetulla snake is a medium to large, up to 2.2 meters, slender body and elongated head, large eyes and elongated and slightly toxic poison.
From the tropical dry forest to very humid, lowland, montane rain forest transition from basal to pre-montane rainforest.
