Common heron, large, blue/gray

Habitat:

lakes, ponds, marshes can be found virtually anywhere in North America

Notes:

this bird landed in front of us on the fishing pier. Attracted by the bait on the pier, and seemed habituated to people, most likely due to visitors throwing fish
