Leaf frog

Isthmohyla (Hyla) pseudopuma

Description:

This I saw in Monteverde reserve. In this species, the two biggest causes of mortality of eggs and tadpoles are cannibalism by older individuals, tadpoles of the same species, and desiccation when the water in oviposition sites evaporates.

Habitat:

Raniforest and Cloud forest
