Ursus arctos
The brown bear is a large bear distributed across much of northern Eurasia and North America. It can weigh from 300 to 780 kilograms (660 to 1,700 lb) and its largest subspecies, the Kodiak Bear, rivals the polar bear as the largest member of the bear family and as the largest land-based predator.

Nice hitchhikers!
Happy bear family!
Thanks!
We were so lucky as they just walked out into our road right in front of the car! I took the pictures through the windscreen.
Nice group!
That's fantastic. Some days ago I saw a show from the National Geographic Channel, showing photos made by professional photographers: the guy was in BC, Canada finding the Ghost Bear, so called because its rare white color among all black bears. It was great!
