Sushil,does this fruit turn brown on ripening? As far as i can guess this seems to be something like " Kavitt" Hard shelled. It is tart and if ripened properly is a mixture of tart and sweet. The taste is just unbelievable.! My mom usually made Chutney with it. i enjoyed and loved the fruit as is ,with a little salt!

Ian ,Both Pomelo and Kavittt do not seem to be the same. Kavitt is hard shelled and when opened up is pulpy.
